Data Requests

Trauma information can be a valuable resource for the public at large. The Trauma data collected by the Utah Department of Health is accessible to the public. As a service to the community and organizations reports or data can be produced from the Utah Trauma Registry. All patient and event information that could identify someone is kept highly confidential.

The confidentiality will influence the degree and type of data we are allowed to share. All data requests must first be cleared through the Office of Emergency Medical Services and Preparedness. The contact for approval is:

Once the request for data is approved we can shortly provide the requested report. In addition data requests can be made with the state.
