Many hospitals and organizations are involved in the Utah Trauma Registry project. There are currently 41 hospitals participating in the Utah Trauma Registry. Seventeen of these hospitals manage their own records and databases and upload their patient data into the state system. Twenty-four hospitals send the IICRC paper copies from the trauma patients, which are then abstracted for submission into the registry.
